Viscoelastic Anticorrosion Tape, also known as Viscoelastic Tape, is a non-curing, non-crosslinked, and non-crystalline polymer anticorrosion tape that retains cold flow properties at -45°C.
Our adhesive elastomer corrosion-resistant tape, produced in accordance with the CDP-S-OGP-AC-017-2013-2 regulation and the SY/T5918-2017 technical standard, has a temperature resistance range of -45 to +130℃. It can be applied directly to surfaces of steel, cement, PE, PP, FBE, PVC, asphalt, liquid epoxy, and multi-coated surfaces without the need for primer. Widely used in industries such as oil, refining, city gas, LNG, offshore platforms, chemicals, nuclear power, thermal power, material storage, tap water, and wastewater treatment. It is suitable for the anti-corrosion protection of new and existing long-distance pipeline joints, buried pipelines, buried valve bodies, flanges, storage tank bottom and edge plates, as well as various irregular equipment and anti-corrosion coating repairs. The adhesive elastomer corrosion-resistant tape can be easily shaped into any form, perfectly fitting irregular pipe fittings, variable diameter pipelines, and joint sleeves for seamless filling and covering. With a long service life of over 30 years, it effectively prevents the invasion of various corrosive substances.
Due to the flexibility of the adhesive-elastic material, when using it as a corrosion-resistant layer, it is necessary to select high-strength adhesive tapes with thicknesses of ≥0.8mm polyethylene or ≥1.1mm mesh fiber polypropylene, along with heat-shrinkable pressure-sensitive tape and UV-curing tape for mechanical protection to enhance resistance against damage caused by external stresses.

Instructions for Use:
1. Surface treatment work down to ST2/3 level, ensuring cleanliness with no debris or adherent rust.
2. Apply by wrapping, with the axial overlap width of the adhesive-elastic anti-corrosion tape being 10% to 15% of the tape width, and the ends overlapping by at least 50% of the tape width. During use, simply wash the skin with cleaning fluid and water.
3. External protective mesh fiber polypropylene adhesive tape or polyethylene adhesive tape, wrapped with an axial overlap width of ≥50%; both ends are covered with an elastomeric adhesive tape anti-corrosion layer of ≥50mm each; when using pressure-sensitive adhesive heat shrinkable tape for patch protection, the coverage of the elastomeric adhesive tape anti-corrosion layer at both ends is not less than 50mm, and overlaps with the original anti-corrosion layer by not less than 50mm; the same applies to the UV curing tape.
3. Prohibit outdoor construction during rain, snow, fog with humidity > 85%, and in windy sand conditions.
Transportation and Storage:
1. Upright, stackable up to 4 layers, to prevent damage and deformation; also offers protection against contamination, rain, and excessive sun exposure.
2. Store in a warehouse with relative humidity below 75% at temperatures between -5~+35°C, away from heat sources and open flames. Do not expose to water or freezing.
3. No expiration date.
