The RXI-100 Passive Protection Mesh is also a commonly used series of slope protection meshes, which can effectively intercept impact forces of up to 1000KJ.
Passive specifications: R9/3/300 mesh type, 9 rings of circular mesh, wire diameter of 3mm, and mesh size of 300mm. Each pillar is equipped with a damping and pressure-relieving ring, using Φ18 double support ropes. Both the upward and side pull anchor ropes are made of Φ16 steel wire rope.
The metal wire used in the passive protection net is hot-dipped galvanized, offering excellent corrosion resistance and a lifespan of up to 50 years. The passive circular net is designed with interlocking rings, providing better cushioning and more effective interception of falling rocks.
Usage: The slope protection net is primarily used in rugged mountainous areas with buffer zones adjacent to construction facilities. It prevents rocks, flying stones, avalanches, and mudslides from reaching the construction facilities, thus avoiding damage to the structures from disasters.
The RXI-100 Passive Protection Mesh consists of four main components: steel wire rope mesh, circular mesh, (an additional layer of iron wire grille for intercepting small falling rocks if necessary), a fixing system (anchor bolts, tie-back ropes, base and support ropes), a pressure relief ring, and steel columns. The steel columns and steel wire rope mesh are connected to form an integrated unit, providing surface protection for the protected area and preventing the downward fall of collapsing rock and soil, thereby serving as a slope protection function.
