Glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) corrosion-resistant purlins are high-performance composite building materials produced through pultrusion molding. They come in various colors and offer excellent corrosion resistance. Their flexible design caters to the requirements of large, integrated, and structurally complex equipment and construction projects, making them ideal for use in coastal factories prone to corrosion.

The basic components of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) corrosion-resistant purlins are resin and glass fibers (including fabrics, felts, etc.). It is reinforced with fibers (including glass fibers, carbon fibers, organic fibers, and other metal and non-metallic fibers). Bonded with resins (mainly epoxy resins, polyester resins, and phenolic resins) as the adhesive, supplemented by other auxiliary materials (mainly additives: release agents, hardeners, catalysts, sealants, UV stabilizers, mold cleaning water, gel coats, etc.), it boasts a range of excellent properties such as corrosion resistance, high strength, low density, low moisture absorption, low elongation, and good insulation.

Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Corrosion-Resistant Rafter Installation Precautions:

1. No more than two people should be standing on each anti-corrosion rafter during installation.

2. Anti-corrosion joists are directly mounted on the steel beam, ensuring no gaps are formed with the beam.

3. Prior to installing the bolts, first attach the specialized support caps to both ends of the anti-corrosion joists.

4. Prior to installing the bolts, the nuts should be on the same side as the rafter support plates. Tighten the bolts securely but moderately, ensuring not to distort the shape of the corrosion-resistant rafter strips.

5. 160-type corrosion-resistant joists, beam spacing ≤ 6000mm, joist spacing ≤ 1500mm.

6. Installation and connection of anti-corrosion purlins utilize L-shaped connectors, secured with bolts.
