The positioning pile valve assembly for the dredger used in eternal engineering is designed to control the lifting and lowering of the left and right positioning piles of the dredger. It consists of an electro-hydraulic directional valve for lifting the left and right positioning piles, an electromagnetic valve for lowering them, and a hydraulic check valve.

If the mud dredger's left and right positioning piles do not rise, it may be caused by a stuck electro-hydraulic directional valve or a liquid-controlled one-way valve that is not sealed properly. It could also be due to a lack of power in the electromagnet or a damaged coil.

At this point, remove the directional valve or hydraulic check valve. Clean it with diesel fuel and reassemble it. The control of this valve assembly is operated by the lever switches or buttons on the dredger's control console, located on the left and right positioning piles. The slow release of the stern pile is controlled by a throttle needle valve at the stern of the vessel.
