Additionally, it should facilitate the easy lifting of the pump above ground level during maintenance.

The seal between the pump housing and the discharge elbow support can be conveniently adjusted by moving the pump vertically down. The discharge elbow support and the sliding guide coupling device should be considered an integral part of the pump equipment. The entire weight of the pump equipment should be securely pressed against the discharge elbow by the contact between the flanges of the automatic coupling device.
