If you're a beginner in the electrical industry, you'll need to take the electrician exam. An electrician's license is now the entry requirement for the electrical industry; anyone wanting to work in the field must have a license. Electricity work is highly technical, so it's crucial to take the license seriously. Currently, training programs vary in duration and certification time across different regions, typically around three months. The courses and training content differ, as well as the final training duration, so please choose a suitable training program based on the specific arrangements of the training center.

Beginners in electrical engineering should start with the basics and consider purchasing a foundational textbook. Additionally, you can watch educational videos on electrical engineering topics produced by universities online. Basic theories are crucial, and understanding various electrical control theories is essential. It's feasible to master system theories within about a year. Practical experience is key in electrical engineering; get hands-on as much as possible. The prerequisite is a strong interest in electricity, as this will accelerate your progress. With the rapid development of electrical automation and the quick obsolescence of equipment, the skills you learn today might become outdated tomorrow, so continuous learning is necessary. A strong English foundation is important, as it will be inconvenient to handle import equipment maintenance, programming, and software usage in the future.

Electricians are divided into five levels. Skills include: Electrician IC cards issued by the electrician, which is a basic level, and those issued by the Human Resources Bureau include basic (Level 5), intermediate (Level 2), and (Level 1). The profession belongs to the technical grade, not administrative, but acknowledges that the two have the same treatment, including salary, housing, etc., equivalent to assistant, Level 2. Assistant (Basic), Professorial, Researcher (same as Professorial).
