Product Overview
Excellent forming properties, good corrosion and rust resistance, and good weldability and ductility. 3003 is an AL-Mn series alloy, a widely used type of corrosion-resistant aluminum. This alloy has low strength (slightly higher than industrial pure aluminum), cannot be heat-treated to strengthen, so cold working methods are used to enhance its mechanical properties: it has high ductility in the annealed state, good ductility in semi-cold working hardening, low ductility in cold working hardening, good corrosion resistance, good weldability, and poor machinability. Applications include parts requiring high ductility and good weldability that operate in liquid or gas mediums, such as fuel tanks, gasoline or lubricating oil conduits, various liquid containers, and other small-load parts made by deep drawing: wire material is used for rivets. 3003 aluminum sheets have good forming, soldering, and corrosion resistance. Used for processing components that require excellent forming properties, high corrosion resistance, and good weldability, or those that need these properties and also higher strength than 1XXX series alloys.

Widely used in kitchenware, food, and chemical product handling and storage equipment, tanks and containers for transporting liquid products, various pressure vessels and pipeline fittings made from thin plates, radiators, makeup boards, copying machine rollers, shipbuilding materials, and more.
