The shot blasting machine is a treatment technique that uses a shot blaster to rapidly propel steel grit or steel shots against the surface of a material object. Compared to other surface treatment methods, it is faster and more effective, and can be used on parts that have been partially retained or after stamping processes. The shot blasting machine can also be used to remove burrs, diaphragms, and rust, which may affect the integrity of parts, appearance, or definition. It can also remove surface contaminants from a coated surface of a part, providing a surface profile that increases the adhesion of the coating, thereby strengthening the workpiece. Unlike the sandblasting machine, the shot blasting machine is used to reduce the fatigue life of parts, increase different surface stresses, enhance the strength of components, or prevent micro-movement.
The table-top shot blast machine is primarily suited for batch production of surface cleaning for medium and small-sized workpieces. This model is ideal for engine connecting rods, gears, diaphragm springs, and more, and is widely used in foundry and automotive manufacturing industries. It features open shot blasting machine accessories, excellent production and sealing, compact structure, easy loading and unloading, and high technical content. The planetary table-top shot blast machine, utilizing the "parent-child rotation" operation (usually 2-24 small rotating tables), is suitable for shot blasting to remove oxidation scale from various small-sized machined parts after heat treatment, resulting in a silver-gray surface finish and also serves to relieve stress and enhance the adhesion of surface coatings.
Drive units use flexible angle drive for roller conveyors, powered by a planetary reducer to achieve the required speed, driving the workpieces on the roller conveyor. Open-air sandblasting machines in bulk, propelled by a drive sprocket via a chain, move continuously along the track. The conveyors are precision-made from special high-strength φ152mm seamless steel tubes. Jiangsu open-air sandblasting machines, with a load capacity of 1000KG/M. The conveying roller conveyor consists of an input roller conveyor, a shot-blasting chamber roller conveyor, and an output roller conveyor. Both the input and output roller conveyor shafts are made by welding carbon steel seamless steel tubes with quenched and tempered shaft heads. The outer dimensions and installation sizes are machined after welding, ensuring a load-bearing capacity of 1T/m and concentricity. The roller conveyors inside the chamber are protected with high-chromium molybdenum iron sleeves, heat-treated after processing, effectively extending service life and reducing maintenance rates. The bearings at both ends are equipped with labyrinth seals to prevent dust and broken shot from entering, enhancing the bearing's lifespan.
