Water Softening Equipment, as the name implies, is a device that reduces the hardness of water, primarily removing calcium from the water.Magnesium ions, soft water equipment can be used for the softening of make-up water for systems requiring anti-scaling measures such as air conditioners and boilers, as well as for the treatment of potable water.
The fully automatic sodium ion exchanger utilizes ion exchange technology to remove scaling ions like calcium and magnesium from water.
When raw water containing hardness ions passes through the resin layer inside the exchanger, the calcium and magnesium ions in the water are exchanged with the sodium ions adsorbed by the resin. The resin adsorbs the calcium and magnesium ions, while the sodium ions enter the water. Thus, the water flowing out of the exchanger is softened water with the hardness removed.
After the resin absorbs a certain amount of calcium and magnesium ions, it must be regenerated. The regeneration process involves flushing the resin layer with brine from the salt tank, replacing the hardness ions on the resin, which are then排出 along with the regeneration fluid, thus restoring the resin's softening exchange capacity.
