Product Features

At 1.25°C, it is a solid in tablet form; it dissolves at a temperature greater than 80°C.

2. An octadecylamide-based tertiary amine, soluble in equal organic solvents, insoluble in water. Upon acid neutralization, it forms a quaternary ammonium salt, becoming soluble in water and serving as a cationic surfactant. White to faintly yellow solid, density 0.910 g/cm³.

3. Primarily made from natural plant products, featuring high biodegradability and low biological toxicity.

4. Combining cationic and non-ionic characteristics, it has excellent compatibility with anionic surfactants. Suitable for eco-friendly hair care formulas, it offers low irritation to skin and eyes, and also provides thickening and conditioning effects.

5. Can also be used as a softener and is applicable in industries such as papermaking and textiles.

Product Applications

1. It is an intermediate used in the production of amines, quaternary amines, betaine, and quaternary ammonium salts.

2. Suitable for emollients, emulsifiers, foaming agents, conditioners, softeners, etc.

3. Suitable for bath products, hair care, skincare agents, chemical synthesis, lubricating cutting oils, etc.

4. A still-excellent flotation agent for quartz sand, an effective asphalt emulsifier, and also suitable for paper waterproofing agent, corrosion inhibitor, and additive for petroleum products.
