Sediment scraper, a machine used to remove silt from riverbeds, employed in urban sewage treatment plants, waterworks, and large-diameter circular sedimentation tanks in industrial wastewater treatment to exclude sludge settled at the bottom of the tank and skim off floating debris from the surface.
Category: Sludge Scrapers mainly include peripheral-driven sludge scrapers and central-driven concentrated sludge scrapers. The central-driven concentrated sludge scraper is composed of overflow devices, beams and bars, inlet pipes, transmission units, electrical cabinets, flow stabilizers, main shafts, scum rake plates, scraper assemblies, underwater bearings, small scrapers, slag bins, and scum rake plates, etc. The central-driven concentrated sludge scraper can further separate free water from the sludge in the thickener, reducing the volume of sludge, increasing its concentration, and discharging the concentrated sludge out of the pool.
Usage:
Sediment removers are primarily used in urban wastewater treatment plants, waterworks, and industrial wastewater treatment facilities in large-diameter circular sedimentation basins. They are designed to remove sludge settled at the bottom of the basin and scum floating on the surface.
Structure:
Sediment scrapers are composed of a drive unit, working bridge, main scraper, auxiliary scraper, central turntable, skimming device, overflow weir plate, and slagging plate, as well as an electric collection device. For a sedimentation pond with central inflow and peripheral outflow, a guide tube is usually required.
Operating Principle:
The drive unit rotates the污泥刮泥机 around the center of the sedimentation tank. After the raw water settles in the tank, the clear supernatant flows out through the overflow weir plate. The sludge settled at the bottom of the tank is slowly moved towards the central sludge collection channel along the bottom, propelled by the spiral scraper blades. It is then discharged through the sludge discharge pipe. Simultaneously, the floating debris accumulates in the area between the scraper blade and the baffle. As the working bridge passes over the floating debris discharge pipe on the surface of the tank, the discharge pipe is pressed below the liquid surface, and the floating debris is discharged out of the tank through the pipe.
Features:
1The scraper is designed with a logarithmic spiral curve and supported by rubber wheels to move along the bottom of the pond, offering excellent sludge removal with minimal requirements for the pond's bottom and good adaptability.
2In addition to the main mud scraper, an auxiliary mud scraper is also installed, enabling the semi-bridge mud scraper to function like a full-bridge mud scraper.
3The working bridge is designed with a truss structure, featuring a steel grating deck for high strength, light weight, and energy-saving performance.
4Solid rubber driving wheels, no need for tracks, simple structure, easy installation.
5All underwater components are made of stainless steel, while above-water parts are made of carbon steel with hot-dipped galvanized coating, offering a long service life.
