Wastewater in the regulating pond is pumped into the grille, which is used to intercept fine floating debris and suspended particles in the wastewater. The collected pollutants are automatically transferred to the sludge pond by the grille teeth. The wastewater then flows into the subsequent process. This grille is a Japanese imported device, featuring excellent separation effectiveness (bar spacing of 2mm), automatic removal of pollutants, resistance to clogging, and a long service life. Two grilles are selected, with one in reserve.
Anoxic zone is set up for denitrification treatment. After格栅separation, the wastewater flows into the anoxic pond and mixes with the回流nitrifying liquid in the contact pond. NZP-II type media is placed in the anoxic pond as a carrier for denitrifying bacteria. The media is effective in removing nitrogen, phosphorus, and compounds, with a retention time of 2 hours. The system is divided into three levels, with a total treatment time of 6 hours. The first two levels use NZP-I type packing, which has excellent fluid flow characteristics. The third level employs NZP-II type packing, featuring a larger specific surface area, with a treatment load of up to 14 kgBOD/m³·d, which is 5-10 times higher than that of general packing. The biochemical pool uses a central channel with microporous aeration. Wastewater circulates continuously within the biochemical pool, fully contacting the biofilm on the packing, achieving rapid degradation of organic matter.
Treated wastewater from the biochemical process enters the secondary sedimentation tank, which is designed with a surface load of 0.9-1.2 m³/m².d. The water tank in the secondary sedimentation tank is adjustable with a floating level and features a toothed collecting channel, ensuring uniform sedimentation. The sludge from the secondary sedimentation tank is aerated and transferred to the sludge pond.
