An explosion-proof control cabinet with positive pressure is a specialized type of explosion-proof cabinet, specifically designed for use in environments where there is a risk of explosion from flammable vapors, gases, or dust.
It features providing sufficient positive pressure inside the cabinet, effectively preventing ignition sources from being ignited by internal and external pressure differences, achieving the purpose of explosion-proofing.
Positive pressure explosion-proof control cabinets usually have one or more positive pressure ventilation openings to maintain positive pressure inside the cabinet. These openings are typically located at the top of the cabinet to allow flammable
Gases or vapors are released and drawn into the ventilation system, preventing explosive materials from entering the cabinet. This type of explosion-proof cabinet is also equipped with filters and other safety devices.
To minimize dust and harmful gases from entering the container.
Choose explosion-proof control cabinets with positive pressure design due to their exceptional explosion-proof performance, which ensures the safety of electrical equipment and control systems inside the cabinet, preventing explosions or fires from causing damage.
Equipment damage or personnel injury due to hazardous environment disasters. Additionally, explosion-proof control cabinets with positive pressure features are also characterized by easy installation and maintenance, making them popular in numerous industrial and facility applications.
Widely applied in China.
Installation of explosion-proof control cabinets with positive pressure can be referred to the following steps:
Before installation, check if the model, specifications, and rated parameters of the explosion-proof control cabinet match the design. Ensure the internal wiring is neat, the external grounding is good, and the cabinet door connections are secure.
Is the ground wire properly connected?
2. Explosion-proof control cabinets should be installed on a concrete foundation and be level and stable. Adequate workspace should be provided around the cabinet.
3. First remove the fixing screws from the bottom plate of the explosion-proof control cabinet, then move the cabinet to the base position. After adjusting the level, secure it with M8 bolts.
4. Open the explosion-proof control cabinet door, connect the wires according to the drawings, and securely tighten all bolts.
5. The instruments and switches behind the explosion-proof control cabinet should be adjusted for reliable operation, and the circuit should be adjusted for reliable protection settings.
6. When installing the electrical control box, ensure safety and stability on the construction site.
