The surface coating of PVC self-adhesive printing is actually a protective layer, designed to enhance ink reception and ease of printing, thereby preventing dirt, increasing ink adhesion, and preventing the detachment of printed images. The silicon coating involves applying a silicone oil layer to the base paper, creating a very smooth and low-surface-tension surface, which serves to prevent the adhesive from sticking to the base paper.

The backsheet of the PVC self-adhesive printing is designed to protect the adhesive on the back of the face material, support the face material, and enable it to be die-cut, waste-removed, and labeled on labeling machines. As for the reverse printing, its purpose is to print the manufacturer's registered trademark or pattern on the back of the backsheet, serving as a promotional and anti-counterfeiting measure.

The face material is the surface that accepts printing graphics and the backside that accepts adhesive and is ultimately applied to the adhesive object. The purpose of the priming layer is to protect the face material and prevent the adhesive from渗透. It enhances the opacity of the fabric; increases the bonding strength between the adhesive and the face material; and prevents plastic face material plasticizers from渗透 into the adhesive, affecting its adhesive properties, leading to reduced label adhesion and label detachment.

Next is the adhesive for PVC self-adhesive label printing. There are various formulations, suitable for different substrates and occasions. It acts as the bonding material between the self-adhesive label material and the bonding substrate. It is also a key component in PVC self-adhesive printing materials, crucial for label application technology.
