Rivet nuts, also known as pull rivet nuts or pull caps, are developed to address the drawbacks of welding nuts on thin metal sheets and pipes, such as easy melting, base material deformation, and thread cutting slippage. They do not require threading or welding, ensuring a strong rivet connection with high efficiency and ease of use.
Application: Primarily used in the fastening field for various metal sheets, pipes, and other manufacturing industries, widely applied in the assembly of automotive, aviation, railway, refrigeration, elevator, switchgear, instruments, furniture, and decorative electrical and light industrial products.
Mating nuts are mainly made of low-carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy aluminum, copper, and so on.
Flat-head, dome, hex, semi-hex bolts, with through holes and blind holes, with knurled and smooth shanks.
Mushroom nuts are primarily used in non-structural load-bearing bolt connections, such as for interior components in rail, road, and marine vehicles. The improved anti-rotation mushroom nuts are superior to aircraft deck nuts, offering advantages like lighter weight, no need for pre-bolting to secure the deck nut, and usability even when there's no operational space on the base material's back.
