Standard: GB 5310
Seamless steel pipes for high-pressure boilers
GB 5310 standard applies to seamless steel tubes for the manufacture of steam boilers and pipelines with pressures of high pressure and above.
15CrMoG is a steel grade according to GB 5310-95 (equivalent to 13CrMo44 in the Federal Republic of Germany; corresponding to 1Cr-1/2Mo and 1 1/4Cr-1/2Mo-Si steels widely used worldwide). It has a higher chromium content than 12CrMo steel, thus exhibiting high thermal strength at 500-550°C. Above 550°C, the thermal strength of 15CrMoG steel significantly decreases. During long-term operation at 500-550°C, it does not produce graphitization but does result in carbide spheroidization and redistribution of alloy elements, all of which lead to a decrease in the steel's thermal strength. 15CrMoG steel possesses good anti-relaxation properties at 450°C. It also has good tube-making and welding process characteristics.
