This welder is specifically designed and manufactured for nut capacitor energy storage projection welding, suitable for welding various carbon steel and stainless steel projection welding nuts with plates. When paired with appropriate electrodes and die holders, it can also weld a variety of projection welding workpieces. The welder features the following notable characteristics:
High efficiency, energy-saving, and excellent welding quality
The energy used for welding workpieces is gradually stored (about 6s) in a capacitor, then released instantaneously (about 10ms). By utilizing the stored energy of the capacitor, the welding area of the workpiece can be heated集中 without significant conduction loss. This results in significant energy savings and a minimal heat-affected zone, ensuring high-quality welds.
2. Small grid capacity utilization, minimal impact on the grid
Due to the energy storage welding process being divided into two steps—“storing energy (charging)”and “releasing energy (discharging)”—the stored energy can be provided by a low-power (capacity) source over a certain period (about 6 seconds). This energy is then released in a fraction of a second (about 10 milliseconds), delivering a high power output. As a result, energy storage welding machines occupy minimal grid capacity and have a low impact on the grid, allowing for nearly unrestricted use of this welding machine based on grid capacity.
3. Simple and convenient to operate
Adjustments to the welding specifications can be achieved by simply adjusting the capacitor charging voltage and electrode pressure. The capacitor charging voltage is regulated by a voltage adjustment knob on the control cabinet, while the electrode pressure is controlled by a reducer on the main unit. To obtain satisfactory welding results, appropriately adjust the charging voltage based on the size of the workpiece and the number of protrusions.

The machine features a charging control circuit and a program control circuit specifically designed for capacitor storage resistance spot welding machines by our company, and utilizes an OMRON PLC from Japan as the central control unit, ensuring high control accuracy and stable, reliable operation.
