This welder is specifically designed and manufactured for nut capacitor storage projection welding, suitable for welding projection nuts and plates made of various carbon steel and stainless steel. When paired with appropriate electrodes and die holders, it can also weld a variety of projection workpieces. The welder boasts the following notable features:
High efficiency, energy-saving, and excellent welding quality
The energy used for welding components is gradually stored (approximately 6 seconds) in capacitors, then released instantaneously (about 10 ms). The stored energy in the capacitors can concentrate heating on the welding area of the components with less conduction loss, resulting in significant energy savings and a small heat-affected zone, ensuring high-quality welding.
2. Low grid capacity utilization, minimal impact on the grid
Due to the energy storage welding process being divided into two steps—“energy storage (charging)”and “energy release (discharging) welding”—the stored energy can be provided by a low-power (capacity) power source over a certain period (about 6 seconds). When this energy is released instantaneously (about 10 milliseconds), it delivers a significantly higher power. As a result, the energy storage welding machine occupies minimal grid capacity and causes minimal grid impact, allowing the use of this machine to be virtually unrestricted by grid capacity.
3. Simple and convenient to operate
Adjustments to the welding specifications can be achieved simply by adjusting the capacitor charging voltage and electrode pressure. The capacitor charging voltage is regulated by a voltage adjustment knob on the control cabinet, and the electrode pressure is adjusted by a减压 valve on the main unit. By appropriately adjusting the charging voltage based on the size of the welding piece and the number of protrusions, a satisfactory welding effect can be obtained.

This machine is equipped with a charging control circuit and a program control circuit specifically designed for capacitor storage resistance spot welding machines by our company, utilizing a PLC from Japan's OMRON as the central control unit, ensuring high control accuracy and stable, reliable operation.
