What is the main function of a mold temperature controller?
The purpose of the mold temperature controller is primarily to effectively control the mold temperature, allowing us to achieve a higher product pass rate during the production process.
Maintain the mold temperature constant at the working temperature. If successful, the cycle time can be optimized to ensure consistent high-quality injection molded parts. Mold temperature affects surface quality, fluidity, shrinkage rate, injection cycle, and deformation. Excessive or insufficient mold temperature can have different effects on different materials.
Under stable system pressure, heating is permissible; however, the temperature must not rise too quickly. Monitor the pressure stability; do not increase the temperature during instability. Once the pressure stabilizes at the equipment's set value, the mold temperature controller has been successfully tuned.
