Floating Oil Seal Overview:
Floating oil seals are composed of two identical metal steel rings and two rubber rings. Their working principle is that a pair of metal rings, supported by a pair of rubber rings, form a sealed space with the housing (but not in contact with the shaft). During operation, the two ground sealing surfaces of the metal rings fit closely and slide against each other, ensuring smooth operation on one hand and effectively sealing out external dust, water, gravel, sand, etc., on the other, thus protecting the internal lubricating oil from leakage. Product types include DO, DF, and XY models.
Advantages of Floating Seals:
Reliable design, easy installation
Low cost, high efficiency
Extended lifespan
Automated Compensation Axis Eccentricity
Self-healing abrasive sealing surface
Effectively isolates dust, water, and sand from the outside, while protecting internal lubricants and greases.
