Floating Oil Seal Overview:
The floating oil seal consists of two identical steel rings and two rubber rings. Its operating principle is that a pair of metal rings, supported by a pair of rubber rings, form a sealed space with the cavity (but not contacting the shaft). During operation, the two ground sealing surfaces of the metal rings fit tightly and slide against each other, ensuring smooth operation on one hand and effectively sealing out external dust, water, debris, sand, and gravel on the other, to prevent the internal lubricating oil from leaking. Product types include DO, DF, and XY models.
Advantages of Floating Seals:
Reliable design, easy installation
Low cost, high efficiency
Extended service life
Automatically Compensating Axle Eccentricity
Self-healing abrasive sealing surface
Effectively isolate dust, water, and sand from the outside, while protecting the internal lubricating oil and grease.
