Manufacturing Method:

After starting the dry powder mixer, pour various powders and adhesive powders in the required proportions into the mixer. Mix for 15-20 minutes, then package as dry powder paint. During application, first add water to the bucket, then pour in the putty powder, mix well, let it stand for 5 minutes, and it will become a honey-like paste after the adhesive powder dissolves and matures (as any adhesive powder requires 10 minutes to fully dissolve). Mix for another 2-3 minutes before application. Once the coating is 40% dry, it can be polished (shiny). It has high hardness and a very smooth, supple feel. The coating becomes initially vitrified after 24 hours, with increasing hardness and water resistance. It feels smoother and more supple, and has good resistance to abrasion.

Note:

Each ton of dry powder paint is mixed with 0.5 kg of moisture and lubricant, providing high anti-sag properties, pseudoplasticity (thin during stirring, thick at rest). It makes the paint fluffy and honeycomb-like, easy to apply, resulting in a smoother feel and better workability.

Expert Alert:

Due to the decrease in the viscosity of rubber powder when the summer temperature exceeds 30 degrees Celsius, it is recommended to reduce 0.5 kg of rubber powder per ton and add 0.5 kg of moisture-retaining lubricant or cellulose in summer to improve water retention and prevent powder loss.

The above formula is for reference only, as the water absorption of calcium powder raw materials varies by region (southern gray calcium has low water absorption, while northern gray calcium has high water absorption and requires more adhesive). The amount of gray calcium should not exceed 40%, as it may affect the paint's brightness and increase costs. Paint that is stored for a long time is prone to thickening and cracking of the coating. Gray calcium should not be used with low-calcium coarse gray calcium. Often, gray calcium factories add about 20% of heavy calcium to increase brightness and reduce costs, which results in insufficient strength and easy chalking. If counterfeit gray calcium containing heavy calcium is encountered, increase the amount of gray calcium and decrease the amount of heavy calcium proportionally to avoid chalking and affect the quality of the paint.

Common causes and solutions for shedding, peeling, cracking, and pilling:

Due to summer temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius, the viscosity of all adhesive powders (including cellulose) decreases. High summer temperatures cause walls to dry quickly and absorb moisture rapidly. Once paint is applied, the moisture is immediately absorbed by the wall, leading to quick evaporation. The putty dries quickly upon contact with the wall, resulting in a feeling of stiffness during application. The dried coating dries rapidly and has poor film-forming properties, making it prone to chalking. (This does not occur in spring, autumn, or winter.)

Method of Handling:

In summer, add 0.5 kg of moisturizing lubricant per ton according to the original formula, or HPMC cellulose humectant (add 1-1.5 kg of ethylene glycol per ton for paste form to eliminate batch scraping knots).

Delamination of tempered coating:

1. Due to the higher proportion of gray calcium mixed with heavy calcium, no electrolyte is added to the gray calcium. If encountering fake gray calcium, increase the amount of gray calcium used and correspondingly reduce the amount of heavy calcium.

2. The mixing time for the dry powder coating putty is short and uneven, resulting in insufficient dissolution of the adhesive powder. After drying, the wall surface is not smooth or shows tiny particles of adhesive.

Method of Treatment:Thoroughly mix (for more than 15 minutes, ensuring the powder is fully dissolved) before application for an easy, smooth finish that won't flake.

3. Due to an error in calculating the raw material proportions during production, the materials were not mixed according to the formula ratio.

4. Certain areas have acidic water (or slightly alkaline water, which causes higher paint viscosity and hardness but poor workability and easy chalking). If encountered, the paint may have reduced viscosity and chalking, though this is rare. Should this occur, add a small amount of laundry detergent or edible alkali promptly to resolve the issue. 5. Ripping, curling, and nap formation

(1) Caused by the increased viscosity of alkaline hard water putty paint.

(2) The gray calcium has an excessively high pH value.

(3) issues with rubber powder.

Treatment Method: Reducing 0.5 kg of rubber powder per ton, adding 0.5 kg of moisture-retaining lubricant, or adding 0.5 kg of HPMC cellulose will resolve the issue.
