Anhydrous Calcium Chloride
Calcium Chloride Anhydrous
Chemical Formula: CaCl2
Molecular Weight: 110.98
CAS:10043-52-4
Properties: Anhydrous calcium chloride is a white cubic crystal or powder with strong hygroscopicity, relative density 2.15, melting point 775°C, and boiling point 1935.5°C. It is easily soluble in water and ethanol.
Use: Used as a desiccant for various substances, also for road dust control, soil conditioner, and refrigerant. Used as raw materials for chemical reagents, food additives, feed additives, and the production of calcium metal. Also used as a dehydrating agent, thickener, and water purifier.
