Common issues encountered during the preloading construction of foundation treatment
(1) Ramming Energy Control. Due to the regional convergence of production, impact machinery and components are frequently rotated between job sites, leading to easy long-term wear and quality degradation of the ramming machines. Additionally, situations with incorrect drop distances frequently occur during construction, which can affect the ramming hammer's impact capability. Therefore, it is necessary to inspect the quality and drop distance of the ramming hammer before operation to ensure it meets the planned requirements.
(2) Preparation and acceptance of the construction plan. Due to the experimental advancement of the intensive strike work locally, the construction skill managers' understanding of the intensive strike is constrained, and comprehensive consideration cannot be avoided. The supervisor must meticulously inspect the construction plan. For example, during the review of this project's plan, the supervisor found that the construction team had not considered the potential adverse effects that the adjacent North Loop might cause. Therefore, the construction team adopted measures such as setting up shock-absorbing ditches (1M wide, 1M deep), installing safety fences on the street side (to prevent flying stones and slurry damage), etc. Additionally, the purpose is to ensure safety during construction and minimize the impact on surrounding buildings.
(3) Compaction Point Alignment Errors. It is common for construction to encounter alignment errors with compaction points. During supervision and monitoring, the standards are enforced to remind construction personnel to recheck each compaction point alignment. After the compaction points are completed, inspect their positions and correct any errors or leaks promptly.
(4) "Rubber clay" treatment. During construction, rubber clay was encountered in some areas, primarily due to the influence of local aggregated precipitation, resulting in a high water content in the surface soil of the foundation. The treatment involves excavating part of the rubber clay, filling it with a mixture of large stones from the nearby leveling project, and starting construction from the very beginning.
