The air conditioning vent is the exhaust outlet of the indoor unit, which can be mounted on the wall of the unit or placed directly outside of it. It is used to expel hot air from the indoor unit, lower the room temperature, and also to bring in fresh outdoor air.
Common types of air conditioning ventilation grilles include double-slat grilles and gravity-slat grilles. Double-slat grilles have two adjustable slats that can change angles, with shorter slats used to control the diffusion angle of the air stream and can also alter the direction of the air flow; adjusting the longer slats can make the air stream adhere to the ceiling or incline at a certain angle (when heating air). Gravity-slat grilles rely on the natural下垂 of the slats to block the exchange of indoor and outdoor air. When the air pressure inside is lower than outside, the air flow will blow the slats open to exhaust outward, while outdoor air cannot enter the room.
When selecting an air conditioning vent type, it's important to choose based on actual conditions and personal preference. In addition to the vent type, factors such as size, placement, orientation, filter installation, and air distribution method should also be considered.
