Air conditioner vent refers to the outlet of the indoor unit, which can be mounted on the wall of the indoor unit or placed directly outside of it. It is used to exhaust the hot air from within the indoor unit, lower the indoor temperature, and also to bring in fresh outdoor air.
Common types of air conditioning ventilation outlets include double-slat baffles and self-hanging baffle outlets. Double-slat baffles feature two adjustable blades that can change angles, with the shorter blades for controlling the diffusion angle of the supply air stream and can also redirect the airflow; adjusting the longer blades allows the supply air to adhere to the ceiling or incline at a certain angle (when heating air). Self-hanging baffle outlets rely on the natural下垂 of the baffles to isolate indoor-outdoor air exchange. When the indoor air pressure is lower than the outdoor, the airflow blows the baffles open to exhaust outside, while outside air cannot enter indoors.
When selecting an air conditioning ventilation outlet type, consider the actual conditions and personal preferences. Beyond the outlet type, factors such as size, location, orientation, filter installation, and air distribution method should also be taken into account.
