Overview

SC9 and SCB9 series, as well as SC10 and SCB10 series filled insulation dry-type transformers, are flame-retardant, fireproof, and explosion-proof due to their wire wrapping with epoxy resin. They require no maintenance, produce minimal pollution, and have a compact size, allowing direct installation at the load center. Their scientifically designed and cast construction results in lower partial discharge, low noise, and strong heat dissipation capabilities. Under forced air-cooling conditions, they can operate continuously at 140% of the rated load. They come with an intelligent temperature controller featuring fault alarms, over-temperature alarms, over-temperature tripping, and blackout features. They can be connected to a computer via an RS485 serial interface for on-site monitoring and control. Owing to these features, these dry-type transformers are widely used in power transmission and distribution systems, such as hotels, restaurants, airports, high-rise buildings, commercial centers, residential communities, and harsh environments like subway systems, smelting power plants, ships, and offshore drilling platforms.
