What is Qi Certification?
Qi is a wireless charging standard introduced by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC), featuring convenience and universality. Qi is a universal standard, and products using Qi technology must undergo rigorous testing to ensure safety, interoperability, and energy efficiency. Only certified products can use the Qi logo. Products from different brands, as long as they have the Qi mark, can achieve Qi wireless charging. We believe that products obtaining Qi certification will also benefit sales.
II. Qi Certification Types and Scope
Qi Certification Type
Qi-BPP Certification:
Products support power below 5W, use Qi protocol, and must pass the BPP certification.
2) Qi-EPP Certification:
The product supports over 5W power, utilizes Qi protocol, and must pass the EPP certification.
3) Qi-PPDE Certification:
The product supports power ratings above 5W, uses Samsung's proprietary protocol PPDE, and is required to pass both BPP certification and PPDE testing (implemented as of July 1, 2019).
Qi Certified Product Range
1) By coil type:
Single Coil: A11, A11a
Multi-spool: A28
2) By common product categories
Charger products
Portable Power Bank Products
Embedded devices (products with built-in TX transmission function).
Note: The new version is Qi2.
Three: QI Certification Cycle

Four: QI Certification Rules
1. The Qi 2.0 PTx product should include at least one EPP or MPP.
Each Qi 2.0 certified charger must include an authentication chip.
3. Chargers without BPP cannot undergo Qi 2.0 certification; they are only eligible for Qi 1.3.3 certification.
4. Multi-functional products may include BPP Tx, but must contain at least one EPP or MPP Tx.
All Tx in the multi-in-one product will be tested.
Five: Qi Wireless Charging Product Registration
1) Similar Products: Different colors; surface treatment of the shell varies. (Material differences require re-certification.)
2) Subsystem: If the subsystem has passed certification, the product with the embedded subsystem does not require retesting and can be directly reported.
3) Similar mobile accessories products: such as back case products, with different design dimensions and compatibility with various mobile models; partial testing can be conducted.
