The process involves the production of nitriles by utilizing mixed acids in a circular digester under the presence of waste acids, followed by neutralization, water washing, drying, and separation to obtain para-nitro, ortho-nitro, and meta-nitro compounds.

During the production process, the crystallizer may leak trace amounts of water, which can combine with chloride ions in the product, corroding the process equipment.
