





Standard oil uses the extract of naphthalene from the water samples of contaminated sites. In case of difficulty, use 15W-40 engine oil, 20# heavy diesel oil, or approved standard oil.
Water samples with 1-5 times the oil content of benzene will not interfere with the measurement results; the interference from animal and vegetable oils is smaller than that of the infrared method. Collecting or storing water samples in plastic drums may lead to lower measurement results.

Water Oil Analysis --- Comparison
Currently, the principle of measuring oil in water in the market primarily relies on ultraviolet fluorescence. Water oil analyzers detect this by using the principle of ultraviolet fluorescence, where oil absorbs high-energy ultraviolet light and emits low-energy fluorescence. So, which oils can emit fluorescence? Only aromatic oils can emit fluorescence, which means ultraviolet fluorescence can only measure aromatic oils. Refinery oils, however, contain olefins, alkanes, and aromatics, making the ultraviolet fluorescence measurement incomplete.
Our products are based on the near-infrared scattering principle, measuring total oil with an accuracy of 0.25ppm, a water-in-oil analyzer manufacturer. Temperature: 190°C, Nanjing Water-in-Oil Analyzer, Pressure: 320bar. Fully online, no sampling required.

5. Sulfur oil ether (distilled between 60-90°C).
De-aromatized hexane: Place 60-100 mesh coarse pore silica gel and 70-120 mesh neutral chromatographic alumina (activated for 4 hours at 150-160°C) into a glass column with an inner diameter of 25mm (other sizes available) and a height of 750mm before it has completely cooled. The lower part of the silica gel is 600mm high, covered by a 50mm thick layer of alumina. Pass hexane through the column at 60-90°C to remove aromatics. Collect the de-aromatized hexane in a narrow-necked bottle, and measure the treated hexane at 225nm with water as the reference, ensuring the transmittance is not less than 80%.
