The structure of paint booths can be categorized as: open, closed, continuous, and intermittent; with workpieces rotating or; featuring single-sided spray points and bidirectional spray points.
Due to the varying gasification processes, the amount of pollutants generated also differs. The exhaust emissions produced from the gasification of lignite and bituminous coal are significantly more polluting than those from coal and coke.
Analysis of Waste Gas Pollutants in Coal Chemical Industry
1. Coal Coke Production Emissions: The main source of coking flue gas emissions comes from processes such as coal charging, coking, and biochemical recovery. During the initial coal charging phase, coal material comes into contact with air under high temperatures, leading to the formation of a large amount of black smoke and raw gas containing harmful polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. During the coking process, emissions come from the incomplete carbonization of fine coal powder during chemical conversion, as well as the volatile components, tar, fly ash, and leaked raw gas that are released.
Combustion Method: Treats organic waste gases through direct heating and high-temperature combustion to achieve purification of the waste gases. Advantages: Purification efficiency up to 95% with Taizhou activated carbon adsorption units. Disadvantages: Requires a large amount of thermal energy, such as approximately 8000°C for direct combustion; customized by activated carbon adsorption unit manufacturers, it consumes a significant amount of energy. Additionally, it is prone to produce secondary pollutants like NOX at high temperatures.
Absorption Method: The waste gas is contacted with an absorbent solution to dissolve the harmful substances in the waste gas into the absorbent solution, thereby purifying the waste gas. The absorbent solutions are treated separately.
