Colored asphalt, also known as colored binder.
It is a type of road construction material, consisting of colorless binder and color powder. The colorless binder can be obtained by decolorizing asphalt or mixed from light-colored polymers such as petroleum resin.
Color asphalt features vivid colors and stable chemical properties. Currently available in several major color series such as red, green, yellow, and blue, and can be customized in color design according to customer requirements.
Colored asphalt concrete pavement refers to the mixture of de-colored asphalt with various colored aggregates, colorants, and additives at specific temperatures, which can be formulated into asphalt blends of different colors. After being laid and compacted, it forms a colored asphalt concrete pavement with certain strength and road performance, also known as colored asphalt pavement. It is widely used in landscape paving for traffic sign roads, sidewalks, residential area roads, parks, squares, parking lots, and other scenic areas.
Performance Features
(1) Offers excellent road performance, maintaining high temperature stability, resistance to water damage, and durability under varying temperatures and external conditions. It does not deform or exhibit asphalt film peeling, and has good bonding with the subgrade.
(2) Vibrant and durable colors, colorfast, with excellent high and low temperature stability, easy to maintain.
(3) Offers strong sound-absorbing capabilities; car tires rolling at high speeds on the road do not produce loud noise due to air compression, and also absorb other external noises.
(4) Offers excellent elasticity and flexibility, providing a comfortable "foot feel." Particularly suitable for elderly individuals for walking, and boasts good anti-slip properties.
