How to install highway guardrails:
1. When installing highway guardrails, comprehensive protection should be provided based on the filling height, slope, and protected objects, to correctly guide vehicles and fully ensure the safety of drivers. Prior to constructing bridges or culverts, it's essential to familiarize yourself with the route and design.
2. Concrete wall guardrails are commonly used on large and medium-sized bridges. When connected to beam guardrails, they offer a balanced transition between rigidity and flexibility. At this point, the corrugated beam fence should be reinforced and securely connected to the fence. To minimize the impact of expansion joints on the bridge deck, guardrail nets can be installed on the deck, and emergency hotline signs can be placed alongside the road.
3. The installation position of high-speed guardrail posts should be carefully considered at higher retaining walls. For safety, fences can be set up, and within tunnels, fences must be installed and properly connected to the outer tunnel fence. When the bending radius is less than 70 meters, traditional guardrails cannot be used, and instead, a special curved beam should be employed. The number of curved beams should be calculated based on different bending beam radii.
