Geotextile drainage boards refer to a type within the geotextile family. They are block-shaped, waterproof, and water-retaining, commonly used in roof greening and indoor planting.
Features:
Easier construction, maintenance, and cost-effective.
2. High load-bearing and durability.
3. Ensures rapid drainage of excess water.
4. The water storage section can retain a portion of the water.
5. Provides ample moisture and oxygen for plant growth.
6. Light weight and strong roof thermal insulation.
Construction Notice:
When used in garden ponds, flower boxes, or beds, replace conventional materials (such as filter layers composed of expanded clay, pebbles, or shells) with water-retaining boards and filter geotextiles.
2. For hard surface greening on new and old roofs, or underground construction tops, etc., prior to laying drainage boards, clear the site of debris, set up the waterproofing layer as per design plans, then slope the surface using cement mortar to ensure no significant indentations or protrusions, arrange the drainage boards in an orderly manner, and no additional drainage sumps are needed within the铺设 area.
3. When used for constructing intermediate floors in buildings, the water-retaining and drainage board is laid on the concrete roof deck. An additional single wall is then built around the board or concrete is used for protection, allowing groundwater to seep through the voids of the drainage board into the collecting trench.
4. The drainage boards are interconnected around the edges, with gaps left during installation to serve as the lower drainage channel. The geotextile filter and moisture-retaining layer on top should also be properly overlapped.
5. After the geocomposite drainage panels are installed, proceed to the next step promptly by laying the filter geotextile and matrix layer to prevent soil, cement, and yellow sand from clogging the channels or entering the water storage, water channels, or drainage pathways of the panels. To ensure the geocomposite drainage panels operate optimally, you may also place an operational board on top of the filter geotextile, which facilitates landscaping work.
