The role of nitrogen in automobiles

High temperatures also accelerate tire rubber aging, reduce fatigue strength, and cause severe tread wear, which are significant factors contributing to blowouts. Compared to regular compressed air, high-purity nitrogen, being oxygen-free and virtually free of moisture and oil, has a lower thermal expansion coefficient and lower thermal conductivity, heats up slowly, and is non-flammable and non-combustible. These properties greatly reduce the likelihood of a blowout. 

3.Extend tire lifespan After using nitrogen, tire pressure remains stable with minimal volume change, significantly reducing the likelihood of irregular wear such as crown wear, shoulder wear, and side wear, thereby extending the tire's lifespan. The aging of rubber is caused by oxidation from oxygen molecules in the air, which leads to a decrease in strength and elasticity and cracking, one of the reasons for a shorter tire lifespan. Nitrogen separator units can effectively remove oxygen, sulfur, oil, water, and other impurities from the air to the maximum extent, reducing the oxidation of the tire inner lining and the corrosion of rubber, preventing corrosion of metal wheel rims, extending tire lifespan, and to some extent, reducing wheel rim rust. 

4.Reduce fuel consumption and protect the environment. Insufficient tire pressure and increased rolling resistance after heating can lead to higher fuel consumption during driving. Nitrogen, however, not only maintains stable tire pressure and delays pressure drop, but also, being dry and free of oil and water with low thermal conductivity, it warms up slowly. These properties reduce the temperature rise of the tire during movement and minimize tire deformation, enhancing traction. This, in turn, lowers rolling resistance and achieves the goal of reducing fuel consumption.

Toxicity and Protection

2、 Eye Protection: Wear safety goggles. 

3、 Other protection measures: Avoid inhaling high concentrations in confined spaces, ensure good natural ventilation. Operators must receive specialized training and strictly adhere to operational procedures. Prevent gas leakage into the workplace air. Handle with care to prevent damage to cylinders and accessories. Equip with emergency leak response equipment. 

Fire Emergency Measures and Protection

Evacuate personnel from the leaking contaminated area to upwind locations and isolate them, strictly controlling entry and exit. It is recommended that emergency personnel wear self-contained positive pressure breathing apparatus. Avoid direct contact with the leaked material. Try to cut off the source of the leak. Prevent gas from accumulating in low-lying areas, as it can ignite and explode upon contact with an ignition source. Use exhaust fans to direct the leaked gas to an open area. Properly dispose of the leaking container, repair and inspect it before reuse.

This product is non-flammable. Keep containers cool in the fire scene with fog-like water. Use fog-like water spray to accelerate the evaporation of liquid nitrogen, but do not use water hoses to shoot at it.
