The acceptance standards for diesel generator sets are roughly summarized into the following five points:

1. Cylinder pressure and oil pressure should meet the technical standards specified for each model.

2. Sufficient power. The power of the diesel engine in the diesel generating set after major overhaul should be over 95% of the rated power.

3. After starting the diesel engine, the speed should be maintained evenly during idle, medium, and rated speeds.

4. Diesel fuel consumption should meet the specified standards.

5. Exhaust emissions are normal. The diesel engine is allowed to operate with a slight white smoke during idling. When running at over 75% load, it is permissible to have a minor amount of black smoke. Briefly under overload, a small amount of black smoke may occur.
