When it comes to structural reinforcement, carbon fiber reinforcement should be quite familiar to you. It has gained widespread preference due to its numerous advantages. In actual application, carbon fiber reinforcement itself cannot produce such excellent results; it relies heavily on the assistance of the impregnating adhesive. If the adhesive's strength is insufficient or its quality is low, the reinforcement effect will be lost when the carbon fabric peels off or gets damaged, and it could even threaten the entire building's safety.

Before reinforcing with unloading, the structure to be reinforced should be unloaded as much as possible. Base Treatment. Areas with concrete surface degradation such as spalling, hollowing, honeycomb, and corrosion should be chiseled off. For larger areas of poor-quality layers, repair should be done with mortar after chiselling. Crack areas should be sealed first. Use concrete corner machines, sandpaper, and other tools to remove concrete surface impurities such as laitance and oil stains. The concrete base surface should be ground smooth, especially the protruding parts on the surface, which should be ground flat. The corners for粘贴 should be chamfered and ground into an arc shape (R≥30mm). Use a hair dryer to clean the concrete surface thoroughly and keep it dry.
