Small, with a density of only 2.7 g/cm, it is soft yet can be formed into various aluminum alloys.
Hard aluminum, super-hard aluminum, corrosion-resistant aluminum, cast aluminum, and more. These aluminum alloys are widely used in the manufacturing industries of aircraft, automobiles, trains, and ships. Additionally, aluminum and its alloys are extensively used in space, space shuttles, and artificial satellites. For instance, a supersonic aircraft is composed of approximately 70% aluminum and its alloys. Aluminum is also heavily utilized in shipbuilding, with a large passenger ship often requiring thousands of tons of aluminum.
(2) Conductivity of Aluminum
Second only to silver and copper, although its conductivity is only two-thirds that of copper, its density is only one-third. Therefore, for the same amount of electricity transmission, the weight of aluminum wire is only half that of copper wire. The oxide film on the surface of aluminum not only has corrosion resistance but also a certain degree of insulating property, making aluminum widely used in the electrical manufacturing industry, wire and cable industry, and radio industry.
(3) Aluminum is a good conductor of heat.
Its thermal conductivity is three times greater than iron. Industrially, aluminum can be used to manufacture various heat exchangers, heat dissipation materials, cooking utensils, and more.
(4) Aluminum has good ductility
(Its malleability is second only to gold and silver), these aluminum foils can be made thinner than 0.01 mm at temperatures between 100℃ and 150℃. They are widely used in packaging cigarettes, candies, and more, and can also be made into aluminum wire, strips, and rolled into various aluminum products.

Due to its dense oxide protective layer, it is resistant to corrosion and is commonly used to manufacture reactors for chemical reactions, refrigeration equipment, oil refining facilities, and pipelines for oil and natural gas. (6) It has a silvery luster (the color of most metals in powdered form is typically black) and is often used as paint, commonly known as silver powder or silver paint, to protect iron products from corrosion and enhance their appearance.

Releasing a substantial amount of heat and brilliant light, often used in the production of explosive mixtures such as ammonium aluminum (a blend of charcoal powder, soot, and other combustible organic materials), incendiary mixtures (like those made with thermite agents and used to ignite hard-to-ignite targets or cannons), and illuminating mixtures (containing 68% barium, 28%, and 4% shellac). Aluminum thermite is commonly used for melting refractory metals and welding rail tracks. Aluminum is also used as a deoxidizing agent in steelmaking. Mixed with graphite, titanium dioxide (or other high-melting-point metal oxides) in specific ratios, it is applied to metal and sintered at high temperatures to create high-temperature-resistant metal ceramics, which have significant applications in technology and industry.
(9) Reflectivity of aluminum plate
Excellent in performance; it reflects ultraviolet light more effectively than silver. The purer the aluminum, the better its reflective capability, making it commonly used for manufacturing high-quality reflecting mirrors, such as solar cooker reflectors.
(10) Aluminum has sound-absorbing properties.

Recycled aluminum's actual production energy consumption is equivalent to 3%-5% of that required for producing electrolytic aluminum. Its demand for energy types is more comprehensive, freeing the aluminum industry from its dependence on "price following electricity prices." Positioning the recycled aluminum industry as a leading sector is more conducive to the healthy and stable long-term development of the aluminum market.
According to the "2013-2017 China Recycled Aluminum Industry Production, Sales, Demand, and Investment Forecast Analysis Report," in 2005, China's recycled aluminum production was approximately 600,000 tons, accounting for 21.82% of the global total. In 2006, the output reached 745,000 tons, making China a global leader in recycled aluminum production, with a share of 21.92%. By 2010, the output hit 4 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 29%. With the continuous development of China's die-casting, aluminum profiles, automotive, and household appliance industries, the demand for recycled aluminum is expected to grow, presenting a promising future for the recycled aluminum industry.
Currently, we recycle 2 million tons of waste metals annually, produce 1.2 million tons of various recycled metals, and achieve a turnover of 15 billion yuan, making us a major collection and distribution center for recycled metals in China's central region. Once we seize the development opportunities, the resulting benefits will follow.
