During the use of disposable gloves, be mindful of the following issues:
1) Select gloves suitable for different work environments from the table above. Gloves should fit properly; tight gloves restrict blood flow, causing fatigue and discomfort, while loose gloves are not flexible and tend to fall off.
2) Regularly inspect gloves for any holes or damage, wear, or erosion, especially around the seams. For chemical-resistant gloves, use the inflation method for inspection.
3) Always remove gloves with proper technique to prevent harmful substances from the gloves from contacting your skin and clothing, causing secondary contamination.
4) Do not share gloves with others, as the inside of gloves is a breeding ground for microorganisms, and sharing gloves can easily lead to cross-contamination.
5) Wash hands thoroughly before wearing gloves, ensuring they are placed on clean (sterile) hands. After removing the gloves, wash hands again and apply hand cream to replenish moisture.
6) The gloves chosen must provide adequate protection. In environments where steel wire cut-resistant gloves are required, synthetic fiber cut-resistant gloves should not be used. To ensure their protective function, gloves must be replaced regularly. If they exceed the service life, there is a risk of injury to the hands or skin.
7) Be mindful of the use scenarios for gloves. Using a single pair in different environments can significantly reduce their lifespan.
8) Always use gloves with safety in mind; do not discard contaminated gloves randomly to prevent harm to others. Store gloves that are not in use in a safe location.
