
The main component of lead sheet is lead, which has a high specific gravity and density (11.34g/cm³). It can prevent the penetration of X-rays and other radiations.
The applications of lead plates are as follows:
1. Radiation protection engineering, radiology department renovations, design and construction of industrial radiographic and protective projects, manufacturing of lead doors, lead rooms, and lead window frames, with the radiology department walls serving as radiation shielding.
2. High density weighting, primarily used for stamping factories, mobile phone factories, machinery factories, and fishery chemical factories for reinforcing products and weighting.
3. Electrolytic function, materials such as anode plates for electroplating factories, electrolytic cells, and battery anode plates.
4. Anti-vibration; it is soft and can handle anti-vibration and shock-absorbing materials.
