Activated carbon is a black, porous solid carbon material produced by粉碎, shaping, or carbonization and activation of uniform coal particles. It primarily consists of carbon, with trace amounts of oxygen, hydrogen, sulfur, nitrogen, and chlorine. The specific surface area of common activated carbon ranges from 500 to 1700 m²/g. It possesses strong adsorption properties and is a widely used industrial adsorbent.
