Acid mist and odor scrubbers are commonly used exhaust gas treatment equipment, suitable for all large and medium-sized enclosed or semi-enclosed spaces, and such exhaust purification equipment is often used in industrial exhaust gas treatment. They are typically used for treating acid mist exhaust, hence the name acid mist scrubbers. However, scrubbers can also handle other types of exhausts, such as ammonia (NH3), hydrogen sulfide, VOC organic, domestic waste, or dust.
The tower packing is placed above the demisting and spray layers. The main packing materials include multi-sided hollow spheres and Raschig rings. The packing layer inside the spray tower serves as a mass transfer device for gas-liquid two-phase contact. The bottom of the packing tower is equipped with a packing support plate, with the packing randomly placed on the plate. A packing pressure plate is installed above the packing to prevent it from being blown by rising air currents. The washing tower spray liquid is sprayed onto the packing from the top of the tower through a liquid distributor, and then flows down along the surface of the packing.
