Utilizing biogas fermentation technology to process solid organic waste mainly composed of straw, the vertical biogas plant primarily employs centrifugal pumps for feeding. Due to the limitations of the liquid pump performance, the dry matter concentration (TS%) of the feed material for this unit can only be less than or equal to 10%. Consequently, the following issues arise: 1) Straw is crushed and floats to form sludge, which accumulates continuously in the gas box at the top of the unit, making it difficult to remove and不利于 the escape of biogas. 2) It is challenging to effectively stir and mix the sludge, resulting in lower utilization of raw materials and a lower biogas production rate per pool volume. 3) It requires mixing in wastewater 3 to 4 times the weight of the fermentation material, which increases the energy consumption for heating the excess wastewater to fermentation temperatures (approximately 35°C or 55°C). This also raises the discharge volume and transportation costs of the biogas liquid. 4) If the biogas liquid cannot be fully utilized, it will lead to secondary pollution.
