Screw type actuator:

1. Ensure the basic layout plane is level at 180°; the contact area between the machine base and the basic layout plane must exceed 90%; the screw shaft axis must be perpendicular to the horizontal plane measured on the weir deck; it should be perpendicular to the hinge holes of the weir plate to avoid the screw shaft tilting and cause localized stress that may damage the machinery parts.

2. Place the shuttering machine at the installation location. Fit a stopper disc onto the screw rod, then thread the screw rod from below the beam into the shuttering machine. Once the screw rod protrudes from the top of the machine, put the stopper disc on. The lower end of the screw rod is connected to the gate.

3. The installation of the foundation building for the opening and closing machine must be stable and safe. The concrete for the machine base and foundation components shall be cast according to the drawings. It is strictly prohibited to remove or alter the temporary supports for the opening and closing machine before the concrete reaches the designed strength, and it is also forbidden to conduct trial adjustments or trial operations.

4. Install the opening and closing machinery such that the centerline of the gate's lifting is aligned with the center, ensuring the centerline deviation is no more than ±3mm and the elevation deviation is no more than ±5mm. Subsequently, pour the second-stage concrete or connect to the pre-buried steel plate.

5. Installation of electrical equipment for opening and closing mechanisms, in accordance with drawings and specifications, with all electrical equipment properly grounded.

6. After each gate machine is installed, clean the machine, repair any damaged protective paint, and grease it.

Cylinder debugging:

1. The actuator ensures that the three-phase current imbalance does not exceed ±10% under no-load conditions, and measures the current values.

2. Adjustment of upper and lower limit positions: When the gate is fully closed, tighten the upper travel switch against the upper limit and secure it to the screw. When the gate is fully open, tighten the lower limit disk against the lower travel switch and secure it to the screw.

3. The main control unit of the opening and closing machine must be adjusted to ensure that the gate's up and down travel error does not exceed 1 cm when reaching the upper and lower limits.

4. After installation, it is essential to conduct a trial run. First, perform a no-load test by allowing the screw to travel twice, listening for any abnormal sounds to check if the installation meets technical requirements. Second, conduct a load test by operating the screw twice under the rated load, observing the operation of the screw and gate for any anomalies. Only after confirming there are no issues should the equipment be operated officially.

Operators must be familiar with the structure, performance, and operation methods of the opening and closing machinery, and possess a certain level of mechanical knowledge to ensure the normal operation of the machine.

2. Prior to operation, inspect the machinery for proper operation, ensuring all parts are well-lubricated and bolts are not loose. When operating electrically, check if the power lines are connected and the switches are functioning correctly.

3. While the machine is in operation, the operator must remain on-site and immediately stop the machine upon discovering any issues.

4. During the maintenance of the opening and closing machinery, it is mandatory to remove the load.

5. During use, lubricating oil must be injected through the oil filling hole at all times. It's essential to maintain sufficient lubrication. The screw should be regularly cleaned of oil residue and coated with fresh oil to prevent rust.
