★ Double-seal cast iron gate requirements for both positive and reverse water-stop engineering.
★The double-seal cast iron gate utilizes a double-frame sealing method, with the gate and frame designed in a conical fit. This structure ensures an excellent sealing effect once the gate is closed, achieving ideal water stoppage in both forward and reverse water heads.
★ The gate installation is simple and convenient, similar to the installation method of the standard gate PGZ (PZ) flat cast iron sliding gate.
★ Upon customer's special request, the double face seal can be fitted with a copper face seal.
Cast Iron Gate Installation and Maintenance:
Firstly, there are certain conditions that must be checked and deemed合格 before the actual installation work begins:
Upon completion of the casting iron gate leaf installation, we need to conduct a corresponding check of the gate groove area to ensure that no foreign objects are left behind and that it meets the specified installation standards.
Two, whether the tightness of the supporting and connecting parts of cast iron gate valves meets the standard, and whether the assembly of the components is qualified;
Three, inspection of the surrounding environment for cast iron sluice gates. To ensure optimal use of the gates, we also need to conduct regular checks on the surrounding environment to prevent any debris that has not been timely cleared from obstructing the gate's operation after it is in use, which may affect its normal functioning.
Cast Iron Gate Advantages and Disadvantages:
Advantages: Low fluid resistance; the sealing surface is not eroded when fully open; can be used with bidirectional flow of the medium, no directional; sturdy and durable; suitable for both small and large valves.
Disadvantages: Tall height; long opening and closing time; heavy; difficult to repair; manual operation can be laborious for large bore gate valves.
Gate valves are distinguished into handwheel type and handless type based on the valve stem; into parallel gate type and wedge gate type based on the gate construction; and into single gate plate and double gate plate types. In heating engineering, commonly used are the handwheel wedge gate single gate plate valves (Z41H-16C) and the handless wedge gate single gate plate valves (Z45T-10), with the former installed on the primary side and the latter on the secondary side of the heat station. They generally serve two functions: as the main equipment for on/off control; and as auxiliary equipment for maintenance purposes installed before and after the main equipment.
