Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic (GFRP) Roofing Product Features
Overview of Glass Reinforced Plastic Roofing Sheet Features:
Weather-resistant and aging-resistant; does not deform or flake at 65 degrees Celsius.
2. Excellent thermal insulation and warmth retention (thermal conductivity of 0.14 kcl/mhr/°C)
3. Non-toxic, free from harmful carcinogenic microorganisms like asbestos, in compliance with World Health Organization standards.
4. Lichen-resistant, prevents microbial adhesion under proper installation, and withstands strong winds (can endure winds up to 120 miles per hour).
5. Durable and shock-resistant, it can recover to its original state even after being run over by wheels (draw resistance of 42MPa).
6. Safe and reliable, non-flammable to open flame, fire rating test method, test results: flexibility, fold resistance without breakage, wind resistance, pressure resistance, aging resistance, bending resistance, strength resistance, and weather resistance.
Features include continuous molding, infinite extension, lightweight and high strength, resistance to aging, light transmission, flame retardancy, precise dimensions, smooth surface, customizable colors, low maintenance, and environmental friendliness. The products are widely used in large-scale construction, modern lightweight steel structure colored corrugated panels, greenhouses, sports venues, aquaculture, and more.
Fiberglass Precautions
Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic (GFRP) Light-Transmitting Panel Installation Key Points:
After installation, reserve the space for the skylight panels. Construction proceeds from the eaves towards the ridge. The skylight panels are directly fastened onto the side wave peaks of the steel sheet.
The lighting瓦should be pre-drilled before installation, with the hole diameter being 6-9mm larger than the diameter of the fixing screws for expansion and contraction.
When the translucent panels are overlapped with steel plates vertically, there must be at least a 200mm overlap, and two waterstops should be placed.
When fixing skylight panels, a good weatherseal washer must be used between the screws and the panels for effective water and dust proofing.
After inserting the gasket over the screw, secure it into the joist with an electric drill, thereby completing the installation of the skylight panel.
During the installation of skylight panels, it is strictly prohibited to step directly on the peaks to avoid cracking the panels. A 1200mm x 300mm (length x width) non-slip thick wooden board must be placed horizontally on the skylight panels for working on the guide holes and fixing screws.
