Track-type open-end mixers are suitable for construction work in mountainous areas, muddy terrain, and roads with steep gradients. This is primarily due to the track-based undercarriage, powered by a diesel engine, while the mixer function is powered by hydraulic power. Mixing and movement are driven by different power sources, as the track mixer can walk and mix simultaneously. The power between the two functions is not affected by this.
The track-type flat-end mixer can forcibly mix concrete, meaning it can handle even low-slump concrete. It can complete the mixing task. However, mixing very dry concrete may cause problems with discharging the material, necessitating modification of the discharge opening.
