The efficiency of the cooler's heat dissipation directly affects the operating temperature of the air compressor. The plate-fin structure is prone to accumulating dust, so the maintenance of the cooler requires using dry compressed air of 0.4 Mpa or more to blow from top to bottom during each shift. After blowing, clean the dust and particles inside the air guide cover to prevent them from being blown into the cooler again, causing blockages and leading to high temperatures in the machine. If the machine is used in harsh environments, with the cooler surface covered in oil stains, it is necessary to clean it thoroughly with a carbon cleaner.
How to Maintain and Care for an Air Compressor
After the initial tune-up, the oil filter should be changed within 500 hours, and then again after 3000 hours, with a normal replacement interval of every 3000 hours.
When repairing or replacing the air filter or intake valve, please ensure no foreign objects fall onto the compressor main unit. After completion of the work, close the main door. Before starting the machine, manually rotate it in the direction of rotation.Rotate the main body to ensure no interference.
Check the belt tension every 2,000 hours of operation. If the belt is loose, adjust it until it is tight. To protect the belt, ensure it is not scratched by oil stains. Replace the oil filter every time you change the engine oil.
In daily operation, it is crucial to pay attention to maintenance and upkeep; daily maintenance of the air compressor is a must.9 Major Projects:
Check Oil Level
The oil level gauge pointer should be at the top of the green area or within the orange zone. If the pointer is in the red area, it indicates low oil level. Loosen the fuel cap one turn to relieve pressure in the oil system. Remove the fuel cap, add oil until the level reaches the fuel gauge, then install and tighten the cap.
2. Inspect the display screen readings:
2.1 Typically, the display screen shows the air compressor's exhaust pressure, operating status, and the abbreviation of function keys at the bottom of the display screen.
2.2 If the alarm indicator light is on or flashing, the fault must be eliminated.
2.3 If the maintenance planning cycle exceeds or the maintenance period of a vulnerable part is over, the screen will display maintenance information. Carry out the maintenance measures in the maintenance plan, or replace the vulnerable part, and simultaneously reset the relevant clocks.
3. Inspect Air Filter Maintenance Indicator
If the red portion of the air filter maintenance indicator is fully visible, replace the air filter element. If necessary, clean the air filter and the collector's dust. Press the reset button at the end of the filter to reset, and simultaneously reset the maintenance clock within the computer.
4 Verify if condensate can be discharged during loading:
If the drainage capacity is too low or there is no condensate discharge, it is necessary to shut down and clean the separator.
5. Inspect the cooling water flow (for water-cooled units) as well:
5.1 Inspect if the cooling water drain valves on the inlet and outlet pipes can be sealed properly.
5.2 Open the cooling water inlet valve.
5.3 Open the cooling water flow control valve. If the setting of this valve has not been changed since the last startup, it can be assumed that this method does not need to be considered.
6. Inspection Records:
When the engine exhaust temperature reaches or approaches 98°C, it is necessary to clean the oil cooler.
7. Emission of condensate.
8. Inspect all hoses and pipe fittings for any leakage conditions.
9. Inspection Records:
If the separator differential pressure reaches or exceeds 0.6 BAR (limit 1 BAR) or if the differential pressure begins to decline, the unit should be shut down and the separator core should be replaced.
