The raw materials for aquaculture-specific waterproof membranes are selected from high molecular weight polyethylene primary resin, with the main component being 97.5% high-density polyethylene, approximately 2.5% of carbon black, anti-aging agents, antioxidants, UV absorbers, stabilizers, and other additives. These are durable waterproof materials made through the calendering process of high molecular weight polyethylene. Their primary function is to prevent liquid leakage, gas volatilization, and resist penetration by plant roots. The characteristics of the aquaculture waterproof membranes include stable chemical properties, resistance to aging, excellent tear and puncture resistance, low brittleness, minimal thermal deformation, good chemical stability, resistance to high and low temperatures, asphalt oil tar, and various chemical solutions like acids, alkalis, and salts. They also offer excellent waterproofing and leakage prevention, short construction periods, low costs, and resistance to chemical corrosion.
Aquaculture waterproofing membranes offer unparalleled waterproofing effects and safety performance compared to ordinary waterproofing membranes. They feature 99.9% impermeability, extended service life, and high puncture resistance. These membranes are widely used in fish pond waterproofing, shrimp pond waterproofing, turtle farming greenhouse thermal insulation and waterproofing, snakehead farming pond waterproofing and impermeability, loach pond waterproofing and impermeability, shrimp farming pond waterproofing and leakage prevention, and bass fishing pond waterproofing projects, etc.
