Characteristics of closed deck floor panels:
Compared to the combination of closed-type floor deck and open-type steel deck, the closed-type floor deck can eliminate the need for fire-retardant coating on the bottom of the deck, completely replace the lower reinforcing steel, and reduce the thickness of the floor deck, saving concrete usage. Additionally, the suspended system of the closed-type floor deck can also save on the installation of mechanical and electrical pipelines. Moreover, due to the aforementioned, it can significantly accelerate the processing speed and shorten the construction period. Therefore, using the closed-type floor deck can not only reduce the engineering cost but also lower the engineering management expenses.
The fire resistance limit of closed-type roof deck generally does not fall below 2 hours.
Key features of closed deck steel deck:
1: Meets the requirements for rapid construction of main steel structures, capable of providing a solid work platform in a short period. Allows for laying corrugated steel plates on multiple floors and sequentially casting concrete slabs in a layered construction process.
2: During the usage phase, the floor deck acts as the tension reinforcement for the concrete floor slab, enhancing the floor's stiffness while also saving on the amount of steel and concrete used.
3: The embossed surface of the profiled steel plate enhances the bonding between the floor deck and concrete, creating an integrated structure. Coupled with stiffeners, the floor deck system boasts high-strength load-bearing capacity.
4: Under cantilever conditions, the floor deck serves only as a formwork. The cantilever length can be determined based on the cross-sectional characteristics of the floor deck. To prevent cracking of the cantilever plate, negative reinforcement should be installed at the support according to the design of the structural engineer.
5: Our composite roof deck has passed the fire resistance limit test by the National Fixed Fire Extinguishing System and Fireproof Component Quality Testing Center. As a composite roof deck, it does not require fire-resistant coating, thus significantly reducing the construction cost.
6: After the profiled steel plate is laid, it facilitates ceiling installation, pipeline arrangement, and ventilation ductwork.
7: Due to the connection of the floor deck to the main beams and secondary beams of the steel structure, it forms an integrated unit, thereby providing excellent seismic performance.
Our closed-profile floor deck is a new technological product introduced by our company, a more comprehensive floor deck system. Laboratory tests have proven it to have greater load-bearing and shear resistance compared to other open-profile floor deck systems. The special rib design allows the steel deck's ribs to be completely encased in concrete, similar to reinforcing bars in cast-in-place slabs, thereby maximizing the characteristics of steel and concrete, successfully applied in the floor deck systems with force-distributed reinforcement, and offering excellent fire resistance.
